This exclusive 5-day tour through Northern Spain offers the rare opportunity to explore the natural beauty and vibrant traditions of Cantabria and the Basque Country—two of Spain’s most captivating regions. Designed to be gentle and e-bike friendly, the cycling routes follow coastal paths and rolling green hills, making the experience enjoyable for all levels, whether you’re an experienced rider or simply looking for a relaxed adventure. You’ll have the option to ride on a traditional bike or an e-bike, ensuring the perfect fit for your style and comfort.

Day 1 – Arrival in Bilbao & Welcome Dinner

• Arrival at Bilbao Airport and group transfer to hotel
• Free time to explore the city or relax
• Bike set up.
• Welcome dinner in a Local Restaurant with the group and briefing about the tour and eclipse event

Day 2 – Bike Route: Basque Countryside + Private Show Cooking

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Guided bike tour through the Basque coast 40km (25 miles), exploring green hills, charming villages, and coastal viewpoints (moderate level)
• Arrival at a local farmhouse or venue for lunch.
• Afternoon visit to the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, with guided tour of its iconic architecture and modern art collections.
• Dinner at a Michelin Star Restaurant.

Day 3 – Coastal Cantabria Bike Route.

• Breakfast at the hotel
• Transfer to Cantabria
• Morning bike route along the Cantabrian  countryside 40km (25 miles), riding through scenic villages and natural landscapes (moderate level)
• Lunch «On Route».
• Evening transfer to our hotel.
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 – Eclipse Day: Ride, Wine & Celestial Dinner

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Morning bike route through the surrounding countryside 50km (30 miles).
• Guided visit to the winery and wine tasting.
• Late afternoon: Total Solar Eclipse Viewing from the winery’s scenic grounds
• Followed by a special outdoor eclipse dinner, paired with local wines and traditional dishes

Day 5 – Farewell & Departure

• Optional short walk or visit to a nearby village
• Transfer back to Bilbao Airport or city center
• End of tour

They offer great support and clear guidance, whilst out on each days ride. They are always patient. This, we believe, is important on these types of holiday. There are always different support vans, depending on the group size, that day. If you have a mechanical they can fix it, if you forget something, they can lend you a spare. Basically TBT will look after all your needs and requirements whilst on their holidays. This enables you to relax and just focus on your cycling, enjoying the scenery with some like-minded indivuals.
